Gerald Dick Jr. Obituary: Remembering a Life of Love and Family
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Gerald Dick Jr. (Fort Calhoun, Nebraska) on August 5, 2023, at the age of 46. Gerald Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Dick and Denise Dick, as well as his grandparents, Robert and Delores Schroeder, Earl Sr. and Beulah Dick, and Delores Stokes.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved children: Ayden, Atticus, and Axel; his devoted wife, Leah Dick; his loyal pet, Archie; his cherished brothers: Jason Dick Sr., Jeff Dick (Jenny), and Josh Dick (Rhonda); his respected parents-in-law: Perly and Sandra Schoville, Lanette Rybin, Keith “Packy” and Michaela Matzen, Lance and Sasha Shillcutt, Tony and Amy Holden, and Jessica Burns; his adoring nieces and nephews, and his close friend, Nancy Ward. His legacy is further survived by a network of in-laws and cherished friends.
Visitation was held at the Northern Lights Venue (310 N 14th St, Fort Calhoun, NE 68023) on Monday, August 14th, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A moving funeral ceremony will be held at the Reach Church (13121 County Rd 16, Blair, NE 68008) on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023, at 1:00 PM. Gerald Jr.’s bright life will be remembered at the Northern Lights Venue (310 N 14th St, Fort Calhoun, NE 68023) on Friday, August 18th, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate Tacos and Margaritas to honor Gerald Jr.’s memory. Donations in memory of a loved one can also be made to the IUOE Local 571 Training Fund.
