Hammad Alam Obituary and Funeral Details: Remembering a Beloved Community Leader
![]()
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of a cherished member of our community, Br. Hammad Alam. Br. Hammad was not just a resident of Sacramento; he made Tarbiya House Natomas his home Masjid, and his warm smile and kind embraces on Jumaa became a comforting presence for all who knew him. His unwavering spirit of volunteerism and activism shone brightly within our community. Br. Hammad dedicated himself to selflessly serving as a Chaplain, supporting our chaplaincy endeavors, participating in the Natomas Pioneers halaqa, and contributing enthusiastically when he learned of our plans to acquire our own facility. He was a leader, mentor, and beloved brother to many. He leaves behind his wife, Sr. Haifa, and their baby daughter. We submit ourselves humbly to God’s decree and His wisdom. We implore Allah (swt) to shower His mercy upon Br. Hammad, elevate him to the highest ranks of Jannah, and grant his family the strength and patience to endure this profound loss.
The Janaza Prayer will be held at 4:15 PM on Friday, October 6th, following Asr Prayer, at the Greater Sacramento Muslim Cemetery, located at 6330 Eagles Nest Road, Sacramento, CA 95830.
Condolences will be graciously accepted at the following locations after the Janaza:
– For Men: 9434 Marius Way, Sacramento, CA 95829
